Like a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest...

You gotta love James Wisniewski.  He's not outstanding in any one phase of the game, but he's the kind of guy every team needs.  A good stay at home defenseman who keeps the game simple: if you get the puck, shoot it, and if you see an opponent, hit him.  And oh yeah, always be ready to fight.

Wiz isn't in the heavyweight class, but he can certainly hold his own in any altercation.  Witness tonight's fight against the Nashville Predator's Jordin Tootoo.  At some point during this fight, Wiz injures his knee pretty badly (he would miss nearly a month of action) but still manages to finish giving Tootoo a pretty good beating.

Unfortunately, Wisniewski's knee problems aren't over.  While working out this summer, he tore his ACL (the second time he's had such an injury) and is likely out until December.  Hopefully the Hawks will find somebody who can pick up the slack in the fisticuffs department (please God, not David Koci), but a guy like this is going to be hard to replace.
