DUGUAY'S DUGOUT
Once again, we at HOCKEENIGHT welcome the musings of former
Blackhawks farmhand Pierre Duguay, holder of the Central Hockey League
record for hooking penalties in a game, with 9. Take it away, Pierre!
Bonjour des lecteurs Longueuil de nuit d'hockee!
I understand there has been much talk in America this past week about mères de hockey. I haven't had that much experience in this area, due to the fact a lot of the players on Le Femmes Coupe Longueuil are mothers themselves.

I also like to play pickup hockey. From the time I was a young boy in Longueuil, dreaming of being the next Jean Beliveau, I would take my skates and stick down to the river and we would just choose up sides and play until past dark. As you get older, the games get a little harder to find.
Fortunately, there are some fine gentleman at Hockeyisourgame.com who have set up a site for those who are looking for a game. They built a pickup hockey finder that allows people to register their game, for players to find, as well as allow players to find games in their area. Depending on which game you choose, you might even have the chance to get scored upon by Coupe Longueuil!
For those in the Chicago area looking for a fun night this coming Saturday, might I recommend taking in a hockey game for a good cause? I actually had a chance to with and against some of the alumni in the minors. They went to the NHL, I went back to les boîte de peine. Still, a game in early September is something to enjoy.
Answer me this...why does any team still draft Russian players? They seem to be more trouble than they're worth. Radulov hardly seems to be worth an Incident international. The Blackhawks have learned this lesson. They might miss out on some fine players, but they also are spared the headaches.
So the fight siren has sounded, so I must prepare for cleaning up the blood. Until next time, au revoir des lecteurs longueuil de Nuit d'Hockee
