HOCKEENIGHT Gets All Charitable On Your Ass
So the other day in our comments section, somebody sends us a link to the W20 Foundation. It's a charity set up by former Islander Steve Webb. What does the foundation do? Here it is in Webb's words:

I have always had a passion for promoting and supporting the growth of our youth hockey community here on Long Island. As a former professional athlete I have had the privilege of working with many great leaders and mentors, and I know firsthand of the commitment necessary to succeed in sports and in life. It is my vision to provide Long Island’s youth with access to some of what I have learned and with a way of positively channeling their energy and efforts and to harness the greatness that I know lies within all of them.
So why are we telling you all this? Because the W20 Foundation has a chance to win 4 tickets to the NHL All-Star game in Montreal. The raffle tickets are $25 each, and it goes to the Foundation. If you can get to Long Island, they'll fly you in a private jet up to Montreal, and set you up in a hotel for the game. Pretty damn sweet, right?
So help some kids. Webb has already done his bit for charity, having played for the Islanders. He seems all right by us too. Since nobody put up a FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT, allow me to give you a taste of what Webb was all about on the ice:

Whoops.
I can honestly say that with all this time off I took over the holidays, I have no idea what day of the week it is.
