Friday Night Fights: Adam Burish
You gotta love this guy. Adam Burish got off to a slow start this year (him and just about every other Hawk), but since coming back from a broken toe, he's been on fire (relatively speaking). Burish isn't a guy who's going to pile up points, but he's doing well for himself this year, killing penalties, playing well on the 4th line with Colin Fraser and Ben Eager and even scoring the occaisional big goal. Burish will do whatever the Hawks need him to. Even, as my colleague Forklift likes to say "skate through hell in a gasoline suit". Luckily, the Hawks do not have to play in New Jersey this year, so that won't be necessary.
Oh, and Burish likes to fight. He actually seems to enjoy it, even if he's getting pummelled. He loves to jabber at guys and drop the gloves and then he'll be skate off to the penalty box with a bloody nose and a shit-eating grin on his face.
You gotta love this guy.
