BRING IT HOME

OK, here's hoping the Hawks get it done in Calgary, so we can move onto Round Two, and get at least a couple more glorious nights like this...

Big thanks to Slak for pointing us to this awesome video.

What was nice about the anthem was that it wasn't tinged with some weird jingoism. Just pure excitement. "Oh Canada" was received warmly prior to it. Hell, my brother decided to sing along to it. It's not a bad song. Why not?

I'm pretty sure that during the Star Spangled Banner was the loudest I've ever personally experienced at a sporting event. For a second, I thought the noise was being pumped in, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case. Just intense. And awesome.

Almost lost my voice before the drop thanks to the anthem. Totally worth it.

I've said it before, but I would have paid 100 dollars just to be a part of that. It was memorable, to say the least. You have to hear it in person to fully understand it. It just doesn't seem to translate well to Comcast for whatever reason.

    Mike D - I definitely sang O Canada - love that song.
