I got nothin.  If you saw the game tonight, I doubt you want to relive the whole hellish thing in this recap.  If didn't see it, well, you're better off.  I myself wish I'd gone to watch Fork and his wife dance.

THE GOOD

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

THE BAD

These guys

THE UGLY

      ...heck, blame whatever  you want.

This year's Canucks are better than last year's. Hopefully this drubbing sinks in before Monday night.

blame coach Q for not being able to have his troops ready for battle while the canucks were. i am shocked that this team is so much different than the team we have seen before feb 2010 maybe they dont believe in themselves. canucks played very good but without a doubt if hawks play with some heart they can beat them but something is wrong in that locker room. last year Q made compliments on how the group was tight and you dont hear that now

Patrick Kane: "Luongo played really well tonight. You have to give him credit. ... Sometimes you have to tip your cap to the goaltender and say good job to him."

The blame isn't on Q here...it's on the players.

Canucks were better and more disciplined in all areas of the ice.

With the exception of most of the first period and the third, the Hawks were guilty of poor puck management, poor support by the forwards, poor clearing of their own zone, and poor receipt of passes that were often less than crisp.

Kane was easily the Blackhawks' best player, with six shots and a goal. Despite good reasons to be frustrated over his missed open net and the breakaway where he was hooked, Kane kept up his effort for the entire game. He also answered the media's questions in a forthright manner.

Now we'll see if the Hawks get their act together. On more than a few occasions this year, they have shown a tendency to get away from their game plan and try to play as individuals. During the season, you can gloss over that...in the playoffs, against a very good team like Vancouver, it's a recipe for failure.

dave i agree with all you say but dont the coaches get some blame for the way they have been playing in this playoffs maybe a little motivational talk. i know its a young team but the more this group loses in the playoffs and the more they start having doubts. dave i dont know the game like you do i actually turn to you guys for opinions. i know the potential is there for the hawks but they are blowing it away and last night was so depressing that i turned off the tv and listen to wgn. the hawks to me are like a wife cant live with or without them but no matter what you always love them

Vito, don't forget the Hawks got beaten by the identical score back in January in Vancouver. That game was pretty much the same story as last night's.

Box score from the January 23 game here:

Like you say, win or lose, gotta love the Blackhawks.
