Friday Night Fights: A Fond Farewell
As we all know, the Blackhawks have already started reconstructing their Stanley Cup winning team. While we all knew this was coming, it still sucks to see some of our favorites go. Anybody who reads this site, knows we've now got a healthy man-love for Brent Sopel, and Dustin Byfuglien certainly gained a following during the playoffs. Ben Eager, well, he had his moments, and I'm sure somebody will miss him too.
So, here on Friday Night Fights we have a final salute to the men who helped the Hawks win the Cup, but ultimately couldn't be kept on the team. First, Dustin Byfuglien versus Keith Tkachuk:
Ben Eager's 2nd greatest moment as a Blackhawk:
A young, spry, Brent Sopel takes on Brendan Morrow:
The best part is Sopel being referred to as an offensive defenseman.
In other news, Colin Fraser was also traded this week, but it seemed more respectful to NOT show one of his fights.

Thanks for saving us on Fraser. He had a habit of trying to bruise the other guys' fists with his nose.

What, no clip of Fraze from 'The Hawks Newlywed Game'?
Those are golden moments in Indian Head History.
