PUCKCAST: HOCKEENIGHT Hangs with HOCKEY INDEPENDENT
Two Puckcasts in a week? In July? Are you kidding me?
Tonight we welcome our friend Al Cimaglia from XM Radio and hockeyindependent.com as well as our friend and sometimes contributor Dave Morris, who is part of more sites than Jack White and bands.
We talk a lot about the CBA, the state of the NHL, the Hawks' roster taking shape, Antti Niemi's arbitration hearing, and plenty more.
This one goes damn near two hours.
Enjoy.

HockeeNight pushes the boundaries of the hockey blogosphere again with this PuckCast...will there be stretch marks?

...not to mention that our good friend Al Cimaglia brings a modicum of respectability to the proceedings.
Frightening, I know.

Dear Dave:
I'm hoping that you might clarify your observation that commenters on websites are Neanderthals. As a paleolithic tribesman, your remarks confuse and frighten me...

You're right, General.
Perhaps I should have said, "...with the exception of paleolithic tribesmen and Polish military heroes, whose unique views are a shining light in what is, at times, a burgeoning veil of darkness."
And many Neanderthals are, in fact, fine people.

My discovery of Polish heroes, and your admirable effort with this website and your efforts, evokes compelling memories of my many years working and living in that wonderful country.
Sto lat!

This type of podcast is what I love to listen to 50% of the time. The other 50% I like boner/upper decker joke podcasts.
I listen for the humor you guys bring to the discussion and the best is when the discussion just flows in whatever direction the guests/hosts take it. I've listened to a few hockey podcasts and stopped because they are gawd-awful to listen to week in and week out. This one isn't...please don't mess with the format too much to please your other 9 listeners.

Don't worry, neither of us could ever come up with another format anyway.
