This Staten Island-raised tough guy grew up going to Rangers games, then got to live out his dream of playing for his favorite team.

In one of the most awesome traditions ever, Fotiu would end every pregame skate at Madison Square Garden by taking a box of pucks out onto the ice and throwing them into the stands, most of them getting up into the "Blue Seats:, which was where he used to sit to watch games. Talk about never forgetting where you came from.

So anyway, here's Nicky taking on Behn Wilson, then of the Flyers. This is two craftsmen at work. Rather than just getting in there and flailing, it looks more like a round of boxing, almost scientific.

While neither man goes doen, Nicky gets the better of it, ending with tagging Big Behn with a bomb of a right.
