HATS OFF TO THE CAPTAIN: Blackhawks 5 Oilers 0

That's more like it.

The Chicago Blackhawks did not have a good November so far. Hell, until tonight they hadn't even had a 2 goal lead at any point in the month.

Tonight, led by Captain Jonathan Toews' natural hat trick in the first and second periods, the Hawks laid a good old-fashioned curbstomping on the Edmonton Oilers, winning 5-0 in Northlands Coliseum Rexall Place.

Let's get to it:

THE GOOD:

Toews. He went to the net early and often, and it paid off. The Hawks needed to get out of the gate early, and Toews led the way. This was his first regular season hattie since February 2009, when he made it rain hard hats on the United Center ice. This is the Captain shit we need to see.

Patrick Sharp. Not only is he a very handsome man, but he got off his goal schnied with a hesitation move on Nikolai Knabibulin that was almost as handsome as he is. Got him a shortie, and hopefully he'll get his scoring back on track.

Marian Hossa. No goals tonight, but he's starting to have those times where he's holding the puck for as long as he wants to. The goals will come soon.

THE BAD:

The imbecile in the Hawks Winter Classic sweater who stood up and waved at the cameras whenever the puck was in his end. Hey asshole, you lay out that kind of coin for seats near the glass, you don't spend that much time with your back to the game. Dumbass.

THE UGLY:

Theo Peckham's creepy-assed child molester 'stache. I know guys are growing them for Movember to raise money for prostate cancer research, but we need to see more Michel Goulet and less Harry Reems out there.

The Hawks go again on Friday in Calgary. See you in the Shoutbox, don't click on my links.

Once again, the HOCKEENIGHT crew shows impeccable esthetic and historical acumen in its choice of accompanying imagery.

The physiques of Bullwinkle and Jonathan Toews do have an eerie similitude, as do those of Patrick Kane and Rocky The Flying Squirrel.

The pencil 'stache worn by Nick-Boy would then, logically, be a tribute to Boris Badenov.

Now the question remains if CT will, in fact, book Sarah Palin and Sarah Spain for an upcoming PuckCast.

I don't watch that show, but just the mere fact that Bristol Palin is still dancing in the finals is a traveshamockery. Fork...any comments?
