Flameout: Hawks 2, Flames 7
I guess everything WASN'T fixed. The Hawks got destroyed by Calgary tonight, and the only thing worse than the outcome was that the goddamn blogging software ate my original recap and so I have to do this twice. Fucking Go Daddy. The hell with them and their shitty Danica Patrick commercials.
I'm abandoning the recap format for tonight. There is no good, everyone and everything sucked. The power play was a disaster. The penalty kill surrendered 2 goals. The penalties the Hawks took were idiotic. Of the two goals Chicago scored, the first was a softie given up by Miikka Kiprusov and the second was a meaningless tally by Troy Brouwer in the closing moments of the blowout.
No one on the Hawks should be pleased. Chicago was dominated by an inferior opponent and if they were for some reason looking ahead to Vancouver tomorrow, well they should be ashamed. Any team that has lost twice in a month to Edmonton has no right to take anyone lightly.
I'm so pissed after watching this game and having to recap it twice, I can't give Pat Burns a proper send off. Regardless, Pat Burns was a great coach, and it sucks that he'll probably be going into the Hall of Fame posthumously.

Troy Brouwer has become the Charlene Tilton of the Hawks.
