Friday Night Fights: See You Next Year

As 2010 draws to a close, we reflect on the wondrous things we as Blackhawks fans have seen this year.  A Stanley Cup, a Norris trophy winning defenseman and a Conn Smyth winning captain.  Also, the Murdersaurus, and the comedy stylings of Jay Blunk.  Not a bad year at all.

And so, we close this year out in the finest tradition: watching a bunch of limey hockey players beat the hell out of each other.  I have to say, the commentary in this one the commentary may be better than the fisticuffs these ruffians engage in.  I know the Hawks just signed Foley and Edzo to 3 year contract extensions, but I wish they'd have considered bringing in a couple of Englishmen to class the joint up.

Cheerio.

Murdersaurus on the Hawkcast. Adam Kempenaar asks John Scott if he knows that's his nickname.

Inspired by HOCKEENIGHT and this post in particular, 2011 will see Blackhawks TV games hosted by 'Patrick' Foley and 'Edwin' Olczyk. 'Shoot the Puck' will be replaced by 'Intermission Teatime at Centre Ice'. Yo!
