I have no words.  But, since this is the internet, I better type some here anyway.  Make no mistake, but for one man, the Vancouver Canucks were the better team tonight.  Their fans will tell you they had this all the way, but their soiled overalls say otherwise.  Vancouver wins the series and moves on.  They have achieved their ultimate goal of advancing to the the second round.


THE GOOD

Corey Crawford - the man came to play.  Crawford was brilliant, just fucking brilliant.  The Hawks would have had no chance if he was anything less.  Craw withstood a second period barrage, a 3rd period penalty shot and several odd man rushes as his mates scrambled to tie the game.  No doubt who the best goalie in the building was tonight.


THE BAD

Brent Seabrook just didn't look...right.  I would guess that he may be suffering from lingering effects of his game 3 concussion, but his passing and puckhandling were terrible this evening.

The offense - despite displaying a shaky glove hand all through the game, the Hawks continually shot low on  Bobby Lu.  Ah well.


THE DUMB

Corey Crawford was outstanding tonight.  So why did the Canucks fans continually chant his name derisively?   Is it possible that not all Canadians are the hockey savants we thought they were?  Just stupid.
