CHICAGO PUMMELS DALLAS, NIGHT 2: Chicago 6, Dallas 2

Jamie Benn, please find your shirt

Deja Vu all over again. Chicago pounds Dallas for a second night (following last night's pasting the Bears put on the Cowboys).

The Chicago Blackhawks scored 2 in the first and never looked back. They owned the Stars more than Tom Gaglardi tonight, up and down the ice. Kari Lehtonen, who was one of the Three Stars of the game the last time these teams met, was chased in the 2nd period after the 4th goal, but to no avail, as Ellis came in and let 2 more in. Kostka led off the scoring with a soft goal, Kaner followed with a highlight reel breakaway on a beautiful neutral-zone pass from Seabrook, and Saad and Sharp both put two in the net.

Let's get to this:

THE GOOD:

Patrick Sharp. 2 goals, including a beautiful breakaway (on a 100+-foot-pass from Keith) and a laser from the point.

Patrick Kane. 3 points - a goal and 2 assists. He really is playing at another level this year, and it's fun to watch.

Michael Kostka.  Yes, Michael Kostka.  He's missed 24 games, comes back with a goal and an assist in his first game back.

THE BAD:

Although there was a PP goal by Sharpie, the Blackhawks were unable to convert on a 5-on-3.  Those are going to be important down the road.

THE UGLY:

Antoine Roussell.  Penisloaf.  He is going to get lit up at some point this year.

Michael Bolton.  Thanks a lot, Honda, for putting this guy into every commercial you buy, and then buying several million commercials per hockey game.  Jeebus, if I ever see him again on TV, it will be too soon.  That is, unless it's

I celebrate the man's entire catalog.

Next up, the Blackhawks head home to face the Flyers tomorrow night.  I can't get very excited about the Flyers, who are just under .500, so, meh.  I'll be in attendance at that game.  Oh, and both Photoshops tonight were done by Thrillho, who let me "concentrate" on my "writing."  Sadly, this is the finished product of that.  At least his Photoshops are amazing.

Who is the guy in the box with Raanta?

Wd were at a local watering hole that had no sound, thankfully. I asked various patrons of the establishment if they could name Boltons hits-no one could. How does Honda think that add is going to help sell cars. Its almost as bad as Toews and Kaner trying to look tough next to the Chevy Cruze-lol

Roussel wants absolutely nohing to.do wih Bollig. The nozzle picks on Versteeg- that says a lot. Good to see Morin come to Steegs aid! Q likes that sort of stuff

Just don't tell me his first name is Homer-not good if we are down to the Simpsons in goal. Raanta looked like he came close to having his knee bent backwards last night. Where the hell is Huet these days-oh wait, I forgot, one of my friends said he was the worst goalie ever.
