Screw This: Outcome Undetermined

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

By the time you read this, the game will be over.  Probably.  But it might not.  You see, in a world where I have access to more than 900 channels on my television, there are apparently not enough to accommodate 4 separate local sports teams playing at the same time.  So when I saw that CSN, CSN + and WCIU were all occupied with other sporting teams, I flipped through my guide to the NHL Network which claimed to be showing Chicago at Vancouver.  Which directed me to something called CSN2 which was channel 101 which apparently does not exist in my area.
So screw this, there’s no recap, and you can thank CSN because even if the game comes on, I’m going to be in bed before it ends.
Photoshop after the jump.

Too Cute: Hawks 1, Canucks 2 (SO)

Well, that was…odd.
This is one of those games you’d like to have back.  The Hawks outshot and with the exception of one line outplayed the Canucks for 2/3 of the game.  The problem was, instead of just going with the basics of getting guys in front of Roberto Luongo and throwing pucks at the net, the Blackhawks players seemed obsessed with making that extra pass.

Let Us Know When You Win A Cup: Hawks 2, Canucks 3 (OT)

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.
Yeah, I’m bitter about this one.  The Hawks played a pretty good game against a pretty good team tonight and came up on the short end, losing 3-2 to the Canucks in overtime.  It was your standard Hawks/Canucks game at this point, featuring excellent goaltending, periods of sustained offense by both sides, and Alex Burrows being a penisloaf.

Payback: Hawks 5, Canucks 1

Is there anything worse than a West Coast game in the middle of the week?  As an old man with a baby in the house who may decide at any time that she is going to wake up and that nobody else
should sleep either, no. But somebody has to recap these, so here I am.

So we reach Chapter 204 in the Blackhawks/Canucks rivalry. This is the point where the fans don’t want to hear about how much everybody hates everybody else and …
